Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen did not know how to 'handle' meeting Madonna.
Momsen fronts the advert campaign for Material Girl, the new clothing collection by Madonna and her daughter Lourdes Leon.And the actress-singer admitted that she did not know what to expect when she first met the 51-year-old music legend.
The Pretty Reckless singer told US InTouch magazine: 'It's insane, I didn't know how to handle it - I didn't believe it.'I was super excited, it's a big compliment and an honour.'But the 17-year-old quickly relaxed around Madge and says she was easy to work with.
Taylor added: 'She's super down-to-earth, she's a very cool chick, which is very nice to see.'She's Madonna, so you don't really know what to expect when you meet someone so successful.'
