Can You Handle a Madonna Manicure?

Madonna's been a beauty icon for decades, but although we've managed to copy her platinum hair, her Marilyn brows, and of course her flaming red lips, we've never really thought about her nails. (Maybe that's because during her early Danceteria years, they were usually covered in ripped lace gloves.)

But now that Madge and her daughter Lola have a fashion collection at Macy's, they're getting into the lacquer business with their first-ever nail polishes. There are ten total, and they hit Macy's stores on August 15 and September 15.

In honor of the imminent new manicure options, we've matched up our favorite Material Girl shades with our favorite Madonna albums. Matchy-matchy may be a little uncool when working with a purse and shoes, but '80s dance music is a totally different story...

Another Screening Of W.E In NYC Insider Info!

I just saw a screening of W.E. and it was pretty great. It was quick-paced and tense with truly spectacular work in cinematography and editing. Madonna did a splendid job with the screenplay and direction (I didn't even know she was involved with this film before screening it) and the actress who played Wallis is a scene stealer.

M’s Material Girl Line Expands To Beauty, Intimates & Party Dresses

(Lourdes, Madonna, and Kelly Osbourne the current face of Material Girl Clothing)

M’s Material Girl is launching a beauty collection.

The fashion label – which the singer designs with her 14-year-old daughter Lourdes – will expand to include a range of nail polish, lipgloss, body sprays and lotions in Macy’s New York next month with eye-shadows following in September and Lourdes loves choosing her favourite products.

She explained to WWD: “It was so much fun getting to pick all of my favourite scents for the Material Girl body products and lip glosses. The body products have fun names like Wicked Watermelon, Flirty Fruit, Midnight Magnolia and Sinful Sugar. I chose scents that I loved.”

Lanie List, chief merchandising officer at Iconix Brand Group – who have partnered with Material Girl on the collection – revealed Lourdes has a “very sophisticated eye” but all choices have to be approved by her mother.

She said: “Lola is 14 but she lives in New York City and has a very famous mom, so she has a very sophisticated eye. Lola is here once a month and sometimes more. She brings stuff from her own closet for inspiration. For the bath and body products she probably had 100 scents in front of her. She has a very mature approach to product development.

“Madonna definitely has creative input also. It’s a collaboration between the two. If Lola goes to a place with an idea that Madonna doesn’t think is appropriate for the brand, she’ll veto it. She’s a branding expert.”

She is the other one who would make "RAW" and "SmackDown" the most watched television shows every week.

Doubtful? Really?

Tell that to the most successful female recording artist of all time. Not only is she that, and a "Golden Globe" winner, but she also holds the record for the highest-grossing world tour by a solo artist with her "Sticky and Sweet Tour" in 2008-2009.

It was a great show, I was there!

There is not enough time or space to explain all the reasons why I'd want her in "WWE", and why it would be the best thing ever.

Forget The Rock..."WWE" snatched Madonna! News heard around the world.

The woman would just simply turn things around in a flash. No more nonsense, no more slacking off, and no more botches!

She is a perfectionist, and the company needs that more than ever right now.

Randy Orton, John Cena and their "Diva" attitude would be seriously humbled by her magnificence.

For the record, her accomplishments speak for themselves when I talk about her, but it is also an Italian thing.

This "Golden Globe" winner for best actress in 1997 is my favorite artist and my entire family's as well.

ITALIANS DO IT BETTER!
