Video Of Madonna Arriving In Kent.

Madonna's Message.

Dear Friend,

So many of you helped bring Light to the situation in Malawi — thank you.

Over the last several weeks the world has focused on this small African nation where a couple was sentenced to 14 years hard labor for the “crime” of homosexuality. After worldwide outrage the decision was overturned and the couple is now free!

It is my hope that this is just the beginning of our global community coming together to bring justice to Malawi.

Seven years ago I could not locate Malawi on a map. Since then, this small African nation has become the center of my world — capturing my heart and transforming my life. Let me tell you how.

It can be overwhelming at times knowing that Malawi is home to over two million orphans and vulnerable children due to HIV-AIDS and extreme poverty. The tragedy that exists there, with children left to raise other children, is very real.

Despite the unimaginable conditions, there is a hope and a determination in the people of Malawi that is nothing short of contagious. Every trip to Malawi I leave feeling more inspired by the progress and more hopeful than before.

With the smallest actions, I have witnessed enormous change — and that’s why I’m inviting you to continue to help me transform Malawi.

The construction of the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls is just one example of the life changing projects happening right now in Malawi.

I am asking you to partner with me. I know that, together, we will raise Malawi.
Thank you for your support.

Love,

Madonna

Taio Cruz On Madonna And Music Today!

Taio Cruz is a 27-year-old British singer-songwriter, occasional rapper, and music producer.

He wrote songs for Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Pussycat Dolls. His discography includes UK and US number one single “Break Your Heart”.

He recently defended pop music mentioning Madonna, in the process…

“I think ‘pop’ became a dirty word. I’m not going to name any names, but then some people ripped all the soul out of it.People like Madonna, people like Michael Jackson - that’s pop music, but it had soul, it had real musicianship to it.For me, as a kid, all of my influences were pretty much American, whether it was Michael Jackson or Madonna - most of the big stars generally come from here.My music has always been geared that way.”

Madonna Named In Elle Magazine's 25 Most Influential and Intrepid Style Icons!

Elle.com has named the 25 most influential and intrepid style icons.

Of course Madonna is in the top:
"She’s had as many different style overhauls as Liza’s had husbands. First there was the thrift-store wardrobe she wore in 1985’s Desperately Seeking Susan. Then there was Jean Paul Gaultier’s gold bustier on the ’90s Blonde Ambition tour, which led to years of wearing underwear as outerwear. The new century welcomed a newly polished and demure Madonna, who looked more content drinking Earl Grey in the countryside than writhing around like a virgin. That phase was followed by Hung Up’s disco dancer, who ditched the tweed for a purple leotard, and then Hard Candy’s tough and tumble glamazon. What the Material Girl’s next transformation will be, we have no idea, but we can’t wait to see."
