In the USA the set starts at no.7 with 72.000 units, in Canada at no.1 with 17.000, in Japan it rises up to no.3 with 67.000 and in United Kingdom it slides at no.2 with 53.000. 'Celebration' enters the top 10 in all our monitored markets and it seems that the album will belongs to the hottest products during this year's x-mas season. Close behind roars alternative / pop-punk act Paramore at no.2 with their new effort 'Brand New Eyes' after sales of 273.000 copies. The legendary Barbra Streisand tops this week's Billboard Chart and shoots at the third globally with 244.000 copies. Mariah Carey's recent release 'Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel' opens at no.4 with 202.000 copies. The grunge heroes of Alice In Chains start at no.5 with 'Black Gives Way To Blue' (160.000). Last week's bestselling album, Ayaka's 'History 2006-2009' throws down at no.6 after a 59% sales decrease to 142.000. Another debut follows at no.7, Breaking Benjamin's 'Dear Agony' with 138.000 copies. The rest of the top 10 is filled by Jay-Z's 'The Blueprint 3' at no.8 (down 30% to 135.000), Pearl Jam's 'Backspacer' at no.9 (down 61% to 119.000) and Muse's 'The Resistance' at no.10 (down 35% to 118.000)."This means that Celebration has sold 251,000 copies outside the USA while Mariah has sold 34,088 copies outside the USA.
