NICOLE WINHOFFER AND THE WORK WITH MADONNA FOR THE TOUR!

NEW YORK, N.Y. — There’s no denying Madonna is in rock-solid shape.
At 53, the pop icon is revving up to launch her worldwide tour at the end of the month. You can bet Madonna is in high gear getting ready for the highly anticipated concerts and that means endless hours rehearsing and getting her body in top condition.
Healthy Hollywood met up with Madonna’s primary personal trainer, Nicole Winhoffer.
“It’s a huge opportunity for me and I feel super blessed to be working with one of the biggest female icons in the world,” Nicole said. Madonna recruited Nicole to work her out prior to the tour and while they’re on the road. Nicole, a trained dancer, reveals Madonna will do a series of cardio, stretches, toning, and endurance moves for an hour and a half – AND this is all before the singer’s dance rehearsals.
“The biggest challenge is keeping her mind engaged and constantly changing the workouts while still targeting the muscles that we need to go after. Her body picks up really quickly so my challenge is to get those muscles continuously guessing what’s going to come next without her knowing or getting bored,” she added.
Nicole is a dynamo of energy and has a very creative approach to working out. Yet, she’s super sweet and has a wealth of fitness information – so it’s no surprise Madonna trusts her. “I have to know the answers to everything. I have to be ready for any little thing that can go wrong or if she wants an answer to something I need to know right away.”
Once Nicole hits the road, she and Madonna will be sure to schedule at least four or five workouts a week and will do a warm up before each show. “She gets dressed in hair and makeup and then we’ll do a warm up – warming up her joints. We’ll do some trampoline work, some ab work, some stretches and just make sure she’s ready and feeling good vibes.”
Now, Madonna and Nicole are getting ready to share their workout secrets with us regular folks. Madonna’s Hard Candy fitness centers offer “Addicted to Sweat” cardio classes that are inspired by her workouts. Plus, Nicole just finished shooting an “Addicted to Sweat” DVD, which is set to launch this fall.
Yet, if you want to reach out to Nicole and ask her for fitness tips, think again! She jokes, “People ask all the time…but I’m like you got to pay me.”

Madonna's Impact On The Music Industry!

Record companies seized creative control and made a habit of putting an artist’s vision last. Artists were crippled by the music industry’s power. The record companies ruled everything from what the artist wore to where the artist toured. A common practice in the music industry was to pay the artist last. Long term this impacted the music industry and the artist’s legacy. Madonna carved a new path in the music industry. Madonna learned taking risks on herself paid off. She revolutionized the industry by famously declaring on Dick Clark, host of American Bandstand, she was ready to “rule the world.”
Amazingly, the music industry wasn’t banking on Madonna’s success. Warner Brothers sought to retain the creative freedom of the fledgling artist. Madonna’s vision was all out war on the music industry. Madonna’s knack for capturing emotion in her music. Her street smarts and dance style became a craze. Everyone became crazy for her. The music industry was about to embrace the entire Madonna package. She was somewhat rebellious. Her rebellion captured by Randy J. Tamborelli, “she was willing to fight.” Risk wasn’t just a factor it was part of Madonna’s strategy to prove she wasn’t just a one hit wonder. She determined what she wore, what she said and proved a fearless competitor for an industry that kept artistic freedom from musicians, singers, and songwriters.
Through her music and the advent of MTV, Madonna’s self-expression was fearless. Issues such as race, sex, and power deemed taboo are a staple of Madonna’s music. She didn’t care that she ticked off the Catholic Church with burning crosses in “Like a Prayer.” Radio, television and MTV sometimes sought to ban her music citing it was too controversial or racy. Those elements made audiences want to see it even more. Later, all outlets boasted that they would be the first to play the controversial song or show the video it in an appropriate time slot, sending ratings for all through the roof.
Impulse, sound, vibration and vision through the use of music and videos transmitted directly into the collective conscious. Madonna provides freedom through creative expression. Three decades later Madonna’s attitude and the way she did business changed the way the music industry treats artists. Madonna wasted no time in developing a record label of her own as well as helped up and coming artists attain recognition in the mainstream. Madonna doesn’t have to prove anything to the music industry. Her legacy as the Queen of Pop is cemented, not only in the music industry but the universe.

SPOILER : NEW INFO ABOUT THE MDNA TOUR SETLIST EXCLUSIVE!

FROM MADONNARAMA
The footage for the interlude backdrops have already been shot and the videos are currently in post-production. Best Friend, Justify my Love and Nobody Knows me will be the three interlude backdrops for this tour!
The Justify my Love video interlude says one thing: “Dita is back!”
Madonna is being chased by carnival freaks who are wearing different masks, but goes hiding in a room to enjoy herself! It has the same feel as the “Truth or Dare by Madonna” commercial to it and is very sexy.
The video is a metaphor for everybody trying to take advantage of Madonna, judge her or exploit her private life. Instead, Madonna chooses to lock herself up in a room to escape from it all and to indulge in her own fantasies. All this in a very sexy setting!
The backdrop videos for the first “Transgression” section are very dark and deal a lot with violence and death.
Dago Gonzalez, who directed the “Paradise (Not For Me)” and “Bedtime Story” backdrop for the Drowned World Tour and Re-Invention Tour, will again be working with Madonna for the upcoming tour!
Basque trio Kalakan will be adding some extra vocals to Masterpiece to give it a unique feel, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise if we reveal that the footage for the Masterpiece backdrop is inspired by the Basque Country.
Some of the scenes including traditional dancing, locations and costumes have already been shot.
The next days, more footage will be filmed, including Madonna close-ups and group choreographies by the MDNA Tour dancers.
