Confirmed: Madonna To Perform At The "Superbowl XLVI Halftime Show" 2012!

We are happy to confirm that Madonna will perform in the "Bridgestone Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show" at "Lucas Oil Stadium" in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 5th, 2012 as announced during tonight's game on NBC!

The "Material Girl" has partnered with a creative team from "Cirque du Soleil", Jamie King, and multimedia artists from "Moment Factory", to create a signature performance for the "Super Bowl"'s Halftime Show, which will be broadcast worldwide.

Beauty Editors In New York Receive Early Christmas Gift From Madonna!

Madonna knows how to win the hearts and minds of beauty editors.

With a new fragrance to promote called "Truth or Dare", how does the original "Material Girl" make an impression on journalists drowning in perfume samples and inundated with makeup freebies?

She sends the female-dominated offices of a glossy all a flutter by sending her perfume hand-delivered by two male models.

"Allure"'s Beauty News Editor, Heather Muir was greeted by a model dressed all in black and another in white: the scent is "a white floral that plays on dual forces: gardenia and tuberose" - two notes that remind Madge of her mother.

"Truth or Dare" will be unveiled in the UK in May 2012.

"I have always been obsessed by fragrance", Madonna told "WWD" last month.

"And for years I wanted to create something personal that was an expression of me, but that other people could relate to as well. Something honest, and yet daring, hence the name Truth or Dare".

The director for the clip of the first single from the new Madonna album has ben chosen and it is Megaforce , a very talented French quartet with a very long portfolio which includes graphic arts, commercial and clips. They are not popular yet, but directed music videos award winners. The Megaforce are trademarks of the surreal and the effects of zero gravity. The most popular video directed by them is the Pursuit of Happiness , of Kid Cudi . "Give me all your love" will be filmed in New York on December 7-9. It will be a fun clip, and will involve 50 (or more) dancers.

Madonna - who yesterday announced the launch of her Truth or Dare lifestyle brand - will model in a global television and online marketing campaign produced in collaboration with Fabien Baron of Baron & Baron, who she previously worked with on her Sex book. The print adverts were shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.

Madonna makes first appearance on BBC AMERICA’s The Graham Norton Show on January 14



New York – December 1, 2011 – BBC AMERICA announced that Madonna will make a rare talk show appearance and her first on The Graham Norton Show on Saturday, January 14, 10:30pm ET/PT as part of the Ministry of Laughs comedy block.


Madonna will join her two lead actors Andrea Riseborough and James D’Arcy to chat to Graham about W.E., the romantic drama she’s directed that focuses on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorcée Wallis Simpson.
Expressing his delight at finally welcoming Madonna to the show, Graham Norton said, “I couldn't be more excited! This is my real Christmas present. I may have to retire, but that's not a promise.”

Madonna's manager Guy Oseary recently confirmed on his Twitter the rumours about a ballad she recorded for her latest directorial effort "W.E.".

The title of this ballad is said to be "Masterpiece", and it has been produced by William Orbit.

Madonna's voice reportedly "Sounds stunning! A very pretty song, and the movie is much better than people are giving it credit."

The song is said to play over the closing credits of the film and will not only be featured on the "W.E." soundtrack, but is likely to be included on Madonna‘s new album.

So, it's actually not quite clear where the lyrics come from, but may be there'll be any confirmation about all this in the very near future...

As I wrote here a few weeks back, "W.E." will get its theatrical release in Los Angeles and New York City on December 9th, 2011.
