Lady Gaga "Nobody Will Ever Be The New Madonna"!
Lady Gaga gave an interview to french channel, TF1…Again, she’s being described as “the new Madonna” and the one who’s “showing the world how old Madonna is”, but Gaga refuses any comparison…Here’s what she had to say…TF1: You are an Italian from New York, people always compare you to Madonna. Are you saying that you’re here to end Madonna’s reign, and that you are the post-Madonna of pop?
Lady Gaga: Nobody will ever be the new Madonna. Nobody will ever take her place. What Madonna did for feminism and for women all over the world, for the sexual revolution, can never be replicated because it has already been done.

Madonna Picks Up the Bill!
MADONNA PICKS UP THE BILL
QUEEN Madge may be pop royalty but she’s no diva when it comes to partying.
When she hit the trendy Aura nightclub in London last Thursday I hear she insisted on picking up the £20,000 bar tab for her dancers.
A club insider told me: “It’s unheard of for a big star to offer to pay when they normally get nights out free."
“All she asked was that none of her own songs would be played, there were to be no sparklers with her drinks and no paps when she arrived.”

Dear friends, Steven Monjeza and Tiwonge Chimbalanga will spend the next 14 years in a Malawi jail, sentenced to hard labor. They aren't murderers.
They didn't steal. In fact, they didn't commit a crime. They were convicted of homosexuality.
I call upon the progressive men and women of Malawi -- and around the world -- to challenge this decision in the name of human dignity and equal rights for all. Please add your name to mine in a pledge of support for the freedom to love:

Madonna Throws Lavish Party For Backing Dancers At Aura Club In London!
The 51-year-old singer was thrilled with the way the 18-strong dance crew performed on her recent Sticky & Sweet world tour, which finished last year.The star threw the party at the exclusive Aura nightclub in the Piccadilly district of London. She arranged for the dancers to be flown over from Germany for the evening, and was happy to stump up the £10,000 they spent on drinks at the nightspot.
“The evening was a thank-you to her team after their hard work on her recent tour,” a source told British newspaper The Evening Standard. “Madonna didn’t have any of her own extra security. She was happy to mix with the dancers on the dance floor and filmed them doing elaborate routines in front of a gawping crowd.”
The evening started at eatery Supperclub in Notting Hill, where Madonna arranged for the group to have dinner. They then moved on to Aura, where she paid for bottles of expensive Cristal champagne. The beverages arrived with sparklers in the neck.
The group spent most of the evening showing off their moves on the dance floor, with Madonna encouraging them to hold dance offs. It’s not the first time the singer has pitted the dancers against each other – she did the same at Guy Oseary’s annual Oscar’s bash in Hollywood earlier this year.

The men were arrested in December after they celebrated their engagement with a party, the AP reports. Madonna, whose two youngest children, David and Mercy, were adopted from Malawi, spoke out harshly against the Malawian court's decision, saying, "I am shocked and saddened by the decision made today by the Malawian court, which sentenced two innocent men to prison. As a matter of principle, I believe in equal rights for all people, no matter what their gender, race, color, religion, or sexual orientation. Today, Malawi took a giant step backward. The world is filled with pain and suffering; therefore, we must support our basic human right to love and be loved. I call upon the progressive men and women of Malawi - and around the world - to challenge this decision in the name of human dignity and equal rights for all."
Also Thursday, U.S. President Barack Obama's Press Secretary released a statement, which read, "The United States strongly condemns the conviction and harsh sentencing of Steven Monjeza and Tiwonge Chimbalanga in Malawi. The criminalization of sexual orientation and gender identity is unconscionable, and this case mars the human rights record of Malawi. We urge Malawi and all countries to stop using sexual orientation or gender identity as the basis for arrest, detention, or execution."
