Madonna Too Scent-Sive For ABC!
Madonna’s cleavage is just too much for Disney-owned ABC. The network says Madonna’s ads for her Truth or Dare perfume are too racy to run and have insisted that shots of her breasts and behind be covered up. ABC execs ordered producers of the perfume ad to digitally alter offending shots of her body in the 30-second black-and-white ad, which leaked on the Internet yesterday and shows her cavorting in a low-cut corset and fishnet stockings, wearing a cross and singing over a dance beat, “I’m a bad girl.” A source told us: “ABC viewed the ad [and] came back with a list of changes. They say they want her bra digitally made bigger, and to extend higher to cover more of her chest, and her corset longer to cover more of her bottom. ABC also wants to cut another suggestive scene where Madonna writhes around.” Ironically, Madonna’s team wanted the ads to run during the shows “GCB” and “Scandal.” But even once the requested changes are made, ABC brass think Madonna’s sexy black-and-white ad can only run after 9 p.m. — oddly with the exception of daytime show “The View” (perhaps because its viewers are unshockable). Page Six earlier reported that Madonna’s video for her new song, “Girl Gone Wild,” had to be re-edited after YouTube banned it from open view and slapped it with an “18 years and over” rating because of racy content. A second source confirmed to us, “ABC has requested some changes be made to the content of the Truth or Dare perfume commercial.”

Madonna’s MDNA to Debut at #1 in United States!!
She’s no longer “Like a Virgin,” or even the Material Girl, for that matter, but Madonna is still a pop diva superstar.
Madge’s Interscope debut, MDNA, her 12th studio album and first under a recently inked deal with Live Nation, is her first new collection in four years, since 2008’s Hard Candy. It’s a lock for #1 on next week’s HITS Album sales chart, with between 325-350k, beating that album’s 280k opening.
Those figures are based on one-day sales figures which our crack retail staff arrived at by throwing darts at a board. Take that, Soundscan!

UK Midweek Charts: Madonna set to surpass Elvis on all-time list!
Madonna is on course to overtake Elvis Presley with the most UK number one albums by a solo act of all time as her newly-issued MDNA heads to the top this weekend.
The album, her first released through Interscope/Polydor since her departure from long-time home Warner, had sold around 39,000 copies up to the end of business on Tuesday, according to the Official Charts Company. That is more than the next five albums combined.
If, as expected, MDNA does reach number one this Sunday it would be Madonna’s 12th chart-topper, one more than Elvis Presley has managed. Only The Beatles with 15 number ones have topped the chart more times.
The full midweek singles and albums charts are on musicweek.com.

Something About Madonna's "MDNA" Promo Campaign!
Despite a career spanning three decades, with the release of her latest album Madonna has made it clear she is not going the traditional route that she may have gone promoting her past albums.
With the release of "MDNA" yesterday, "Spotify" announced that, "to celebrate 'Spotify' users have the chance to win a pair of premium tickets to Madonna’s already sold-out US tour."
To enter, users need to listen to the album three times through within the next two weeks (until April 9th, 2012).
"The goal of this campaign is to showcase Madonna’s latest album as a whole, while rewarding her fans in a unique and engaging way", says Jordan Walker, who works in "Label Relations" at "Spotify".
"'Spotify' worked closely with Madonna’s management and 'Interscope Records' to create a 'stream to win' campaign around 'MDNA' that will drive album streams and leverage 'Spotify'’s social integration to generate buzz and virality on 'Facebook'. We want to reward Madonna’s super fans on 'Spotify' by giving them the opportunity to see her live in concert in every US city of her tour."
Fans can increase their chances of winning by signing up for an e-mail list from Madonna and "Interscope Records" at a site called "MDNA Superfans".
"Facebook" seems to be an integral part of the "MDNA" campaign with one of the few promotion opportunities being a live interview with Jimmy Fallon on the social network.
Additionally, with its new "Timeline" feature, which includes an icon of the album most recently listened to as well as the four most recent tracks; the album will have high visibility with "Spotify"’s integration with "Facebook".
The fact the album cover is so bright and vibrant will only help its chances of being noticed.

Girl Gone Wild was picked to be the the official theme song for WWE's Wrestlemania 28.!
The clip aired last night right in the middle of the divas match. They played GGW and promoted the album.
BTW, WWE Raw is the #1 show on cable TV and airs worldwide. It will get some exposure out of this. Last years Wrestlemania had a $6.6 million boxscore and had 1,042,000 buys (at $65.00 each). This year they expect 2M buys due to the big main event.

I feel like sinnin'. Must be the Tanqueray. Damn, I picked the wrong life to quit drinkin'. Madonna's new record MDNA drops this week, and I'm spinning, baby, out of control. Madonna came up in the clubs with music that double dog dared you not to dance to it, and MDNA is a face slapping reminder of that.
You know how to whistle, baby. Just put your lips together...and blow. And now, I offer you a blow-by-blow of the tracks off of Madonna's killer new dance album, MDNA. (You gotta love that title!)
"Girl Gone Wild" is a thrashing dance song and controversial new video with a little boy-on-boy action. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
If you're gonna act like a b*tch, you're gonna die like a b*tch, you're gonna die like a b*tch! Or, so says the angry lyrics to "Gang Bang." We in for a ride, girlfriends.
I need to dance. It puts me in a trance and fits me like a glove. I'm addicted to "I'm Addicted."
"Turn up the Radio?" No problem. A love anthem to the uplifting power of music. Music raises your spiritual vibration and takes you where you want to go. And, this song is a place I want to visit often. Don't ask me where I wanna go. You gotta turn up the radio.
"Some Girls" celebrates the harder side of Sears with an ode to not the girl next door. Some girls have a filthy mouth. Hey, naughty girls need love, too!
"Superstar" is one of my favorite cuts with a super sweet and catchy melody reminiscent of an '80s synth pollination of "Cherish" and "Lucky Star."
"I Don't Give A" is catchy and deep, when Madonna sings about tweeting in an elevator. Throw in Nicki Minaj and it's a party, y'all. Timeless.
"I'm a Sinner" wears gorgeous 69's false eyelashes. I like it that way. Where are my platform, patent, white go-go boots?
"Love Spent" opens with the banjo and I feel fine.
"Masterpiece" speaks for itself.
"Beautiful Killer" is a beautiful surprise with violin rubs that would put "Papa Don't Preach" to shame.
"I F*cked Up" is uncharacteristically vulnerable of her highness and beautiful, despite its gasp-inducing 4-letter title.
"Bday Song" and "Best Friend" round out a more than solid effort by Madonna and her posse, including transcendental genius producer William Orbit.
A lifelong Madonna fan and self appointed co-president of the West Hollywood Chapter of the Madonna fan club (Hi, Matthew!), I am happy to report I am pleased as Hawaiian Punch. I was known as "that Madonna freak" in school. Gee, that would make a smokin' tattoo.
I truth or dare you not to love it. You "Madonna Freaks" can get MDNA here www.itunes.com.

Madonna's "Girl Gone Wild" Video Banned On "YouTube"!
Madonna’s steamy new video for "Girl Gone Wild" has been banned from open view on "YouTube" for being too raunchy, with scenes including nudity and a close-up of a man’s PVC-clad crotch.
"YouTube" chiefs have restricted the video to those 18 years or over, and sources tell us they’ve told the superstar’s management that, if they want it to be available for viewing by all, they must edit out shots of bare bottoms, a man rubbing his crotch and an implied masturbation scene, where a man gyrates before a mirror.
A source told us:
"YouTube has decided the video is too raunchy and should only be viewed by those 18 or over, and actually, the video is hard to find on the site. 'YouTube' has sent Madonna’s team a list of shots that should be cut to make it appropriate for everyone."
Fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott directed "Girl Gone Wild", using much of the singer’s trademark erotic imagery, including topless men dancing in black tights (mantyhose) and platform heels.
"YouTube" also took exception to an S&M-inspired scene of a silhouette in chains.
The video was deemed "inappropriate for some users" by "YouTube", and viewers must verify they’re 18 or older and log in to watch it.
A rep for "YouTube" told us:
"While we don’t comment on individual videos, we review all videos flagged by our users against our community guidelines. In some cases we agerestrict flagged material that, while not in violation of those guidelines, contains images that may be unsuitable for younger users."
Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, told us:
"Some things never change. This is a throwback to [1990] when 'MTV' refused to show 'Justify My Love'."

Confirmed! Madonna will magically appear somewhere major, musical Saturday in Miami!!
The rumors are partially true. Like the person Carly Simon sings about in "You're So Vain," Madonna's where she should be all the time (though when she's not, she probably isn't with a spy or the wife of a close friend, but then again, you never know), and when you have a new (mostly) dance CD out, you go to Miami during Winter Music Conference. Madonna doesn't have to leave her house to sell records, but ever the savvy icon, she will indeed be at a major Miami Music Week event, but it's not the one everyone thinks it is, not the "official" MDNA release party tonight at the Delano. Nope. Madonna's been there, done that. And she won't do it tonight. What she will do is stop by somewhere major, somewhere sold out tomorrow night to spin the record and get the crowd hyped up. Says Miami Herald music writer Howard Cohen, "Tony Orlando at the Alper JCC! She'll tie a yellow ribbon around Dawn and take over the harmonies." We wish. Scalpers, you're about to make a mint and Madonna, well, you're Madonna. Enough said and welcome back. We've missed you.

Madonna Says She Will Go To St. Petersburg To Support Gay Rights!
Madonna’s first tour in Russia drew the ire of orthodox Christian activists.
Now she vows to defy a new law against promoting homosexuality, when she performs in President-elect Vladimir Putin’s hometown in August:
"I will come to St. Petersburg to speak up for the gay community and to give strength and inspiration to anyone who is or feels oppressed", the pop star said by e-mail late yesterday.
"I’m a freedom fighter."
"I don’t run away from adversity", Madonna, who has used her fame to support gay rights, said in the e-mail.
"I will speak during my show about this ridiculous atrocity."

Madonna shows Lady GaGa how sexy is done in her music video for Girl Gone Wild!!
Look away, Lady Gaga – Madonna has just snatched back her title for the biggest half naked exhibitionist diva in town (sure, it’s quite a long title).
The 53 year old singer has just released her new music video for Girl Gone Wild and it’s basically like all the sexy bits from Lady Gaga’s videos… but sexier and with more upper arm strength.
Madonna, who looks no older than 30, opens the video with one of her trademark arty monologues (that Gaga has adopted as her own), doing a bit of shouting at heaven and telling God that, deep down, she wants to be a good girl.
She is then seen writhing around in a stark room, showing off an array of fancy press ups and technical dance moves that GaGa could only dream of. Sure, the song is a tad average, but those headstands are really very good.
Madge also stages a huge routine (reminiscent of Gaga’s skeleton dance in Born This Way) showing off her slim figure in a low cut black cat suit and platforms.
The superstar ends the video by admitting that of course she’s bad and there’s nothing she can damn well do about it, which is sort of where we saw it all heading.
Watch the video below...
Lady Gaga is no doubt going to be flattered by yet another comparison with Madonna, with the 25 year old saying in the past that she is her idol. Gaga said last year: “I genuinely love her so much. I think she is so amazing. She could never be replicated and, yes, I’m Italian, I’m from New York, and not for nothing, it’s not my fault that I kind of look like her, right?
“So, look, if anything, it’s more annoying to me that people would insinuate that I don’t like to be compared to her… She’s wonderful and inspiring and liberating.”
Meanwhile, when asked about Gaga’s obsession with her, Madonna was less than keen. Addressing Born This Way, Madonna said: “When I heard it on the radio, I said that sounds very familiar.
And when asked if it was ‘annoying’, Madonna replied: “It felt reductive.”
Yeah, in your face Gaga. Sorry… we’re stirring again.
Compare Madge's new video with Lady Gaga's Born This Way below...
Madonna Owns 'Girl Gone Wild' Title In New Video!
While Madonna favored vintage, kitschy, colorful images for her "Give Me All Your Luvin" video, the Queen of Pop opted for black-and-white sex for her just-released "Girl Gone Wild" clip.
Shot by fashion photographers Mert and Marcus (who also did the album's more multihued artwork), the video was the perfect homage to the singer's foxy "Sex" book and Erotica days of the '90s. Crunchy, sexy and edgy, the "GGW" clip is certainly the perfect response for anyone yearning for that Madge of yesteryear.
Twenty years after Madonna had conservative-minded folks worried about her sexy influence over pop culture, the singer can still make us want her and whatever brand of sex she's selling. Pleather, whips, chains and same-sex action define the images in the saucy clip. While "Give Me" featured pals Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., the only "Girl" in this video is Madge, who gets raunchy with a number of male dancers.
The video opens with Madonna in full glamour mode (big hair and diva makeup) declaring how she wants to be good but just can't fight the bad. We mean, who could blame her with all that eye candy around? Spastic shots of her doing yoga are intercut with ones of her dancing around and sexy male dancers posing with one another (and sharing an apple in a way we haven't seen before). The video also features an electrifying dance sequence, with men in tights and heels, really calling attention to Madonna's never-ending need to create memorable images.
It's clear this girl wants to have fun and she wants to be licked, kissed and grinded on by hot dudes. This is Madonna, so fans shouldn't be surprised that she's favoring erotic scenes in which she mugs for the camera with beefy guys all over her. Eventually, Madge proves she's still got the moves when she joins the dancers for another choreographed sequence.
As the video continues to show the singer and her dancers just being attractive with one another, the final shot is a close-up of Madonna, crying thick, black tears, proving that wild girls are saddest when the party is over.
Mert and Marcus are best known for their work as fashion photographers, and that influence is certainly felt in this video. It plays out as if it's a series of shots in a fashion magazine. MDNA, the singer's 12th studio album, is set for release on Monday. "GGW" is the second single from it.
What did you think of Madonna's new video? Let us know in the comments!

Top Critics Falling For Madonna’s “MDNA” In A Big Way, Billboard Hails Album As “Sheer Brilliance” !!
Last week, top critics in the music industry were given their first test drive of Madonna’s upcoming album MDNA and the overwhelming response — even by some of the harshest critics — has been Immaculate. Perhaps the most influential of all music trade journals is Billboard, which used such words as “sheer brilliance” in their recent review of the album:
“Madonna is still very much the Queen of Pop. Nearly 30 years after first hitting the Billboard charts in late 1982 with her debut single ‘Everybody,’ Madonna is still showing the pop world how it’s done. “MDNA” — her 12th studio album — is a collection of thoroughly pumping pop tunes, some of which are slices of sheer brilliance. Not only does Madonna take us to the club with ‘MDNA,’ she exhausts us, drains us, and confides in us. Five minutes after an aerobic workout on the dance floor, we’re in her private booth, where she’s spilling her guts about relationships and how things just didn’t turn out the way they planned. Then, another five minutes later, we’re back to dancing up a storm to a song like ‘Gang Bang.’ Yes, ‘Gang Bang.’ The track is one of the album’s many stand-outs. It’s a dark, throbbing tune that is twisted and surprising and altogether pop-tastic. (Yes, that’s a word.) Also notable is the summery pop nugget ‘Turn Up the Radio,’ the full-throttle digital rave-up of ‘I’m Addicted’ and the driving, clever word play of ‘Love Spent.’ ‘MDNA’ reunites Madonna with her ‘Ray of Light’ co-producer William Orbit, who polishes her songs with cosmic flourishes and rushes of fuzzy-retro bits. Madonna also enlists the production assistance of Martin Solveig, the Demolition Crew, Benny Benassi, Alle Benassi, Hardy ‘Indiigo’ Muanza and Michael Malih. Curiously, the set’s first single — the rah-rah ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’’ — doesn’t properly prepare the listener for what they’re going to get on the album. Basically: set it aside and go into ‘MDNA’ with a clean slate.”
Billboard also provides a terrific review of each individual track on the album and you can read the entire feature by visiting Billboard.com. The Guardian of London was also blown away by the album, calling it “brilliant, dark dance pop.” You can read a compilation of these and more reviews by CLICKING HERE. MDNA is being released on March 26, 2012. In 2010 Madonna was ranked near the very top of TIME Magazine’s 25 Most Powerful And Influential Women Of The Past 100 Years. The global sociocultural effect of her career over the past 30 years is immeasurable, having forever altered the course of fashion, feminine power, gender relations, sexuality, cultural identity, and popular culture in general. Madonna’s rebellion against the hegemonic ideology of the early 1980s has played a significant role in developing the identity of the modern woman as an independent and liberated being. All hail the Queen.
